You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he’s gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he’d want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

I have a little Grandson,
who means the world to me
He's living with the Angels
and is as special as can be

And even though he's up there,
playing in the clouds
He's still my precious Grandson
and I am so very proud.

I know I can not hold Him,
or bounce him on my knee

There are no mistakes in our world
only experiences and reactions.
When we are faced with tragedies
that seem too cruel or senseless to understand,
it's helpful to ponder all the love that this
beautiful soul ignited in his short stay.
Although we feel cheated in our humanity,
we can still embrace our spirituality
by realizing that he served a higher purpose
and someone's life was changed forever,
enlightened to the spirit of true love
because little Bradley came to us.
